I was born on a farm in Columbus County and spent my childhood dreaming of flying. As a young man, I entered the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and participated in the Air Force ROTC. Upon graduating from UNC-CH, I began Air Force Pilot training in June 1969. After which I spent 7 years as a pilot for the USAF.
Fortunately, after my military years, I was hired by Piedmont Airlines and advanced to Captain. My flying career gave me an opportunity to fly the Boeing 737, 757, and 767. I also served as an instructor pilot and base manager in Charlotte, NC.
In 2004, I retired from the airline and began my real estate career along with my wife, Pam, who is also a licensed real estate broker. We have two adult children, Jan and Michael, and twin grandsons.
I look forward to helping buyers and sellers navigate the real estate transaction process from start to finish!
