As an English teacher/school administrator, education has played a major role in my life. In 2006, I transitioned from education into a real estate career. Later in 2008, I received my instructor's certification to teach pre-licensing, post-licensing, and CE real estate classes and became the owner of Southern Choice Real Estate Academy. Teaching real estate while practicing real estate has given me additional insight into putting my clients' needs and concerns first. Over the last sixteen years, I have concentrated on residential property sales. My husband and I developed several luxury single-family "fractional" homes on Ocean Isle. Helping our clients find the perfect home is our goal in each transaction.

We both grew up on farms in a neighboring county and spent time coming to Ocean Isle Beach as teenagers. We have two adult children, Jan and Michael who are both married, and we have twin grandsons. Our whole family loves spending time together at the beach.
